For years we stood in front of executive teams explaining spreadsheets, campaign performance, research findings and board reports. We were judged by how quickly we could turn diverse information into actionable decisions. That's the problem we built 8SN Insight Engine to solve.

We invested a lot of time trying to simplify and clarifiy data from many different sources.

After a career leading marketing and communications within financial services, followed by many years advising organisations as an independent consultant, I’ve worked with executive teams, agencies and specialist partners across countless commercial projects. One challenge appeared again and again: organisations invested heavily in research, analysis and expertise, yet too often the value was diluted by the way information was presented and understood.
The result wasn’t just weaker presentations, it created uncertainty, unnecessary friction between clients and agencies, and missed opportunities to make informed decisions.
Attending an AI Skills Bootcamp provided the catalyst that made the Insight Engine technically buildable and I’ve enjoyed working on workflow design, model instruction, analytical methodology, benchmark testing, quality governance, UX and product development.

Roxanne will lead product strategy, AI methodology, benchmark design, Sources and evidence governance, quality criteria and commercial validation. Her Engine development work has covered AI workflow and design, model instruction, analytical methodology, benchmark testing, quality governance, UX and product development.
With extensive senior marketing and communications experience in financial services, Roxanne has held pivotal roles including Director of Strategy, Marketing Director and CMO. She launched her first website for Merrill Lynch in 1997, a forward-thinking move long before digital became the norm.
Roxanne's passion for data stems from a deep understanding of its commercial advantages. She believes that numbers and statistics, when presented clearly and thoughtfully, have the power to guide smarter, faster decisions.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to found two successful European startups, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges faced by business owners. For the past 12 years she has advised professional services companies, fintechs, startups and regulators as a marketing and business strategy consultant.
At 8 Second Network, Roxanne works closely with Dan Murray transforming raw data and narratives into powerul outputs that enable informed decision-making.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of design, technology and user experience, helping organisations communicate complex ideas through intuitive digital products and compelling visual experiences. My work spans product design, UX, interface development, creative technology and multimedia, always with a focus on making sophisticated information feel simple, accessible and engaging.
At 8SN, I lead the design and technical development of the Insight Engine, transforming an ambitious commercial vision into a platform that people genuinely enjoy using. From user journeys and interface design to front-end architecture, visualisation, interaction design and product innovation, my role is to ensure every part of the experience feels intuitive while supporting the intelligent analysis happening behind the scenes. It’s a really exciting project to be part of and seeing it come to life has been so rewarding.

Dan's career has been defined by a passion for combining design, data, AI and technology to create meaningful and measurable impacts on people, organisations and profitability. He graduated with first-class honours in Graphic Design and quickly established himself in the corporate world, beginning his career at a bespoke research firm in London.
Over the past decade Dan has brought his creative expertise to leading companies across various industries, including renowned high street banks and fintech innovators. He specialises in transforming established brands into dynamic, engaging entities that resonate with modern audiences.
He has redefined how data is visualised and communicated, helping businesses tell compelling stories through design. His portfolio spans brand revitalisation, digital campaigns, corporate websites and the design of impactful live events.
At 8 Second Network, Dan leads production engineering and deployment of the 8SN Insight Engine, taking direct ownership of the technical build so the founding team can focus on research and development. He is responsible for the web content architecture within the Engine, ensuring every output is rendered and delivered to the standard commercial audiences expect. He works closely with Roxanne Pocha to bridge the gap between what the Engine generates and what a boardroom receives.
Together, we've created a platform where intelligent analysis, exceptional user experience and beautifully communicated outputs work together, helping organisations understand information faster, present it with confidence and make better-informed decisions.
